Sports Connect Product Enhancements – July 29th, 2020
Our Product Team is obsessed with developing new features and enhancements to our Sports Connect platform with the mission of making sports easy for you.
Below is a recap of the highest impact enhancements that have been released this summer.
Free Program Types
We value growing youth sports and assisting leagues with any event and registration needs they may have. We now offer a specific program type to give partners the option to open up zero-cost registrations (for unique programs such as camps, clinics, and fundraisers) without paying any associated fees.
Free Programs have a $0 registration cost for members and do not charge a Service Fee to leagues. Integrated features such as team building and scheduling will not be available for these events. This new program type is available on our Mobile-First registration platform.
Editable Payment Plans
While administrators have always been able to edit payment plan due dates & amounts for manual payment plans, you can now also edit the payment plan due dates and amounts for ARB (Automatic Recurring Billing) payment plans. For parents needing additional flexibility paying their open balances, you can make these adjustments on the fly while still maintaining the convenience of automatic payments.
Previously, the enrollment requirement for a waitlist to kick in was at least 1 enrollment in a division. Administrators are now able to enable a waitlist for divisions with 0 enrollments – as parents and players are beginning to make plans to return to the playing field, this will allow you to gauge interest and participation in each division before charging members.
Team Staff Confirmation Emails
Administrators can now add notes or additional information to the automated confirmation email sent to Team Staff once they register. If your Volunteers or Team Staff members need to take additional steps after signing up in order to be eligible on a team, use this new Team Staff Confirmation Notes section within Program Confirmation Emails to get those important next steps & details out as soon as they sign up. This is found at Step 5 of our Mobile-First Registration Setup.
